Water lowers blood sugar levels. This process is called hydrolysis. Coral calcium treated water works even more effectively in this process due to the minerals it contains, such as chromium, vanadium and others. Not all coral calcium can raise the pH.  All coral calcium capsules are extremely ineffective at raising pH, even ours. Capsules are very ineffective at raising pH for one main reason, HCl (hydrochloric acid). HCl has a pH of about 1 (acid). Coral calcium contains a large amount of carbonates as well as ionic minerals. When these carbonates are introduced into the stomach your body floods them with HCl. Mix the high pH of coral calcium with the low pH of HCl and you are back at slightly acidic.

Since the sachets only release the ionic minerals into the water, the body will treat the fluid as such. The ionic minerals will begin to be absorbed the second the water enters your mouth. When the water does reach the stomach it is treated as water with ionic minerals that does not need to be digested, only absorbed, and therefore will not be mixed with HCl.
